Students invited to tour Coe during Iowa Private College Week
Coe is one of 32 Iowa private colleges and universities that will offer special tours and activities during Iowa Private College Week, Aug. 3-7. Free tours and information sessions will be available for college-bound students and their families at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily, departing from the lobby of Stewart Memorial Library. Coe, St. Luke's receive $4.65 million grant for steam plant construction
Coe College and St. Luke's Hospital have received $4.65 million to construct a shared steam heating plant. The grant was announced by Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) and the assistance comes from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) funds provided to help recover from last summer's flood disaster. Harkin is a senior member of the Senate panel that funds economic development projects. Read More...
Kohawks crowned NCAA National Runner-Up
After a 4-2 national semifinal win over Gustavus, the Coe softball team did what no Coe athletic team has done in school history. They played in a National Championship game, where they fell 2-0 to Messiah. Read More...
